What are DATUM pieces made from?
Our hardware is built from real metal, primarily 316L stainless steel and .925 silver, depending on the piece. Materials are chosen for strength, weight, and long-term wear—not decoration.
Are your products safe to wear daily?
Yes. All metals used are skin-safe and corrosion-resistant. Our stainless steel pieces are suitable for everyday wear and won’t rust or flake.
When will I get my order?
We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location.
What if my item arrives damaged or defective?
If your item arrives defective or damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos. We’ll replace or refund it.
What if my item breaks after use?
If something fails due to a manufacturing issue, we’ll make it right. Damage caused by misuse, force, or normal wear isn’t covered—but reach out and we’ll assess it case by case.
Do you offer returns or exchanges?
Yes. We accept returns or exchanges within 30 days of delivery, as long as the item is unworn and in original condition.
When will my order ship?
Orders ship within 1–2 business days. You’ll receive full tracking once it leaves our studio.
What if my package says “delivered” but I didn’t receive it?
Check with your building, neighbours, or local carrier first. If it still can’t be located, contact us and we’ll help you investigate.
Will sold-out items be restocked?
Not always. We produce in limited runs. Some pieces may return, others won’t. If something’s gone, it’s best to join the waitlist.
Do you have a physical store?
No. DATUM is currently online-only.
